what's a makeathon?
The Gen She Makeathon is a 3 day experience where Houston area students will form teams, create business ideas, and pitch them to judges… all while encompassing workshops, speakers, panels, unwinding brain breaks, networking & much more!
Unlike typical "-athons", competition is not the goal here. Instead, our main goal is to foster community, spark innovation, and build real, meaningful connections.
We want to help you build your "something," all while being a foundation for idea exploration and your empowerment.
